LEBANON MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGE IN CROSSVILLE
Cumberland County deputies recently pulled over a vehicle on I-40 at the 317 mile marker for speeding. When asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle, the driver from Cumberland County told the deputy there was scales used for weighing drugs. A consent search of the passenger, 18-year-old Octavious Mirage Jackson of Lebanon, resulted in $991 in cash deputies believed to be proceeds from drug sales. Also reportedly found was a small amount of heroin. Jackson was arrested for manufacture, sale and delivery of a controlled substance. The driver was not charged.
