LENOIR CITY MAN INDICTED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER
A Lenoir City man has been indicted by a grand jury for attempted first-degree murder. Court officials say 48-year-old Lee Randall Jackson also faces charges of aggravated burglary and aggravated assault from the incident late last year. Jackson allegedly struck a 49-year-old female in the head with a baseball bat during an altercation at a Kingston Street residence. The victim was hit several times with the bat and sustained a broken leg.
