LENOIR CITY SHOOTING SUSPECT STILL ON THE RUN

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect remains on the run after a shooting Friday morning in Lenoir City.
James Burch is considered armed and dangerous.
The victim is in stable condition at U.T. Medical Center.
The shooting took place at a residence on the 22000 block of Martel Road.
The victim is the wife of Burch.
Burch was previously out on bond for domestic assault for assaulting his wife earlier in the year. Authorities say Burch shot her twice in the legs and then left the home. Burch returned to the residence and shot her in the face.
Authorities found the work van Burch was driving in west Knoxville. He was not there.
