The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office announces Nathan (Nate) Lewis has been awarded the prestigious “Operator of the Year” Award for 2023.

Nate, a dedicated S.W.A.T. Team veteran with 4 years of service, has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill, bravery, and leadership throughout the year, and the sheriff’s office is incredibly proud to see him honored with this well-deserved recognition.

As the team’s grenadier during chemical munitions operations, Nate has shown unwavering commitment and expertise in ensuring the safety and success of missions.

His courage and dedication to serving and protecting our community are truly commendable.
