Ben Gaines, a member of Cumberland County Elks Lodge #2751 and its Veterans Committee, is organizing a Veterans Pancake Breakfast on July 12th from 6:00 to 11:00 AM. The event is open to the public, free for veterans, with all proceeds supporting the Veterans Committee’s initiatives, including furnishing homes for formerly homeless veterans awarded housing by the VA and supporting local service member activities. Gaines is requesting donated airtime to promote the event and is willing to provide more details or materials.

Chief Baron Tapp and the officers of the Harriman Police Department are committed to young people in our community. We are excited to announce that the Red, White, and Blue Golf Tournament will be held this year on July 12. Everyone is encouraged to play for a great cause. This year’s 27-hole tournament is set to benefit the Harriman High School Baseball Team by helping purchase new uniforms. We would love to see everyone there!
