Early Saturday morning, a Roane County deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Shenandoah Drive in Rockwood. The driver, 26-year-old William Dakota Stamps Hale, said his license was suspended for failure to carry insurance. Hale was arrested for driving on a suspended license and issued a warning for violation of the light law.
