LLOYD CHARGED WITH THEFT AND VANDALISM
Monterey police say Timothy Washington Lloyd parked a truck this week behind the little league field and snuck up to a skid-steer left at a daycare by a construction crew installing new sidewalks. Lloyd reportedly hot-wired it and attempted to drive it up Elmore Street. He had a hard time steering as it entered the Save-A-Lot parking lot and drove straight towards the front of Monterey Drugs. Lloyd lost control and crashed into a parked tractor-trailer, fled on foot back to his vehicle and left the scene. Lloyd was later arrested for theft over $10,000 and vandalism. He was processed into the Putnam County Jail and initially placed under a $55,000 bond.
