Crews have been out assessing the damage from yesterday’s storm. Currently we have 5 homes and one Cumberland Co Fire Dept. Station damaged in the Vandever Rd./Dunbar Rd. area. Of the 5 homes, 3 have been reported with major damage, the other 2 have minor damage. Most importantly, there have been no injuries reported from civilians or emergency personnel. The National Weather Service has sent a crew to conduct their assessment. That information will be available once released by NWS.
