LON MEE BRIDGE IN HARRIMAN CLOSED UNTIL COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT IN APRIL 2027
The City of Harriman, following discussions with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), has officially closed the Lon Mee Bridge to all traffic until current bridge construction is finished.
City officials cited public safety as the primary factor in the decision, noting that closing the bridge is the safest course of action for both motorists and construction crews amidst ongoing project conditions.

Detour Route: Traffic is being rerouted through downtown Harriman utilizing the Emory River Bridge on Roane Street.
