LOOK TWICE FOR MOTORCYCLES BEING STRESSED DURING MAY

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office will be partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office to promote motorcycle safety throughout the month of May. May is recognized as National Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month which will emphasize information and increasing awareness in communities and across the nation about the importance of sharing the road and looking twice for motorcyclists. According to preliminary data, there were 2,701 motorcycle crashes in Tennessee last year. Of those, 166 were fatal.
