LOUDON COUNTY MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO TWO COUNTS OF MURDER

A Lenoir City man entered a plea of guilty in court yesterday to two counts of first-degree murder. Thirty-year-old Colby Shane Cannon fatally shot his fiancée Bethany McKenzie and his sister, Taylor (Cannon) Creamer outside of a home on White Wing Road following an argument in June 2017. After the plea was entered, Judge Jeff Wicks gave Cannon two life sentences in prison. Cannon was scheduled to stand trial January 8 in Loudon County court.
