Law enforcement in Loudon County arrested a suspect early this morning in connection to a stabbing over this weekend.

It happened at a residence on the 100 block of Comer Private Way in Loudon.

The victim was taken to UT Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Officers say Dominic Comer fled the home on foot soon after the incident.

Law enforcement officials initially searched for Comer in the Steekee Creek and Corinth Church Road areas.

Comer was arrested around 12:30 a.m. today in the 1700 block of Corinth Church Road.

Comer is charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.
