LOUDON COUNTY SWAT TAKES FUGITIVE INTO CUSTODY AND SEIZES METHAMPHETAMINE NEAR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

A multi-agency law enforcement operation ended with the arrest of a fugitive and the seizure of illegal narcotics at a residence on Highland Park Drive on August 29, 2026.

Investigators with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) Crime Suppression Unit, backed by the SWAT Team, K9 Unit, Patrol Division, and the Blount County Sheriff’s Office Drone Team, executed a search warrant at the home.

Upon arrival, authorities ordered occupants to exit. Caiden Hall, who had an active warrant, attempted to flee through a rear window. After spotting LCSO K-9s securing the perimeter, Hall retreated inside and barricaded himself in a crawl space.

Following a standoff where Hall refused to surrender, the SWAT Team entered the loft area and took him into custody without further incident. Investigators recovered nearly an ounce of methamphetamine, scales, syringes, packaging materials, and a meth pipe.

The residence is located near Highland Park Elementary School, though investigators noted it falls just outside the statutory distance required for school-zone enhancements.

Highlighting the threat posed to children, Sheriff Jimmy Davis stated,

“We will continue to pursue those who bring illegal drugs into our community and hold them accountable.”
