LOUDON DEPUTIES ARREST MAN FOR INDECENT EXPOSURE

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man following multiple reports of indecent exposure at a local recreation area, and authorities believe there may be additional victims. On Wednesday afternoon, June 17, 2026, deputies responded to a report of indecent exposure at The Bluffs on Jackson Bend Road.

An adult female victim reported that while swimming with her dogs, she was approached by a man—later identified as Jordan Eplett—who began questioning her and calling her beautiful. Recognizing Eplett from a terrifying encounter a couple of months prior—during which he allegedly exposed himself, masturbated, and chased her through the woods—the victim attempted to leave. As she turned to go, Eplett was again masturbating while looking directly at her, prompting her to flee to her vehicle.

While responding to the scene, deputies located Eplett’s parked vehicle and encountered several other victims in the area who described experiencing identical behavior. Two of the victims successfully directed law enforcement to Eplett’s location near the water, where he was found smoking marijuana.

Following his arrest and a reading of his Miranda rights, Eplett admitted to drinking, smoking marijuana, and repeatedly exposing himself and masturbating in front of multiple victims, including during previous unreported incidents. Eplett has been charged with six counts of indecent exposure, and his cellphone has been seized as evidence.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have been victimized by Eplett, or who has experienced a similar unreported encounter in Loudon County, to contact the non-emergency dispatch center at 865-458-9081.
