Police officers in Crossville responded to the U-Haul Center on Dooley Street this week to a disturbance. The arrest report indicates 32-year-old Jay Travis Lyles, listed as homeless, was holding a knife and trying to get into vehicles on the property. Lyles allegedly brandished the weapon at two that confronted him. Lyles was located a short distance away from the scene and arrested on two counts of aggravated assault.
