Cumberland County authorities conducted a traffic stop this week for a seat belt violation on Pomona Road. A consent search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a glass smoking pipe and a bag containing meth. A drug charge was placed on the driver, 26-year-old Nicole Amberlee Maclellan of Crossville, and passenger, 34-year-old Kristi C. Lovell of Sparta. Both were also arrested for theft of property after clothing and a child seat was recovered supposedly taken by them without paying from Dollar General.
