A convicted sex offender found himself in the Cumberland County jail Tuesday under bonds totaling $190,000.

Officers went to a home on Swing Loop in Westel to take 23-year-old Cameron Michael Madewell into custody.

He is charged with 19 (nineteen) counts of violation of the sex offender registry.

According to the Tennessee Sex Offender Database, Madewell was convicted of statutory rape and ordered to register as a sex offender.
