MALE FOUND IN DRIVER’S SEAT UNRESPONSIVE ON MILLER AVE

On November 8, Crossville police officers were dispatched for a male slumped over in a car parked on the side of Miller Ave. Upon arrival, the male was currently unresponsive. An off-duty EMS employee had noticed the subject first, tried to wake him, and removed the keys from the ignition, prior to the officer’s arrival. After administrating two doses of Narcan, the male was slowly able to regain alertness. When EMS arrived, they were able to remove the male from the vehicle and when asked what he may have taken, he replied “liquid heroin”.

The male was identified as Michael Williams, age 28.  A pistol was also located near the seatbelt area to the right side of the driver’s seat. Mr. Williams was transported by EMS to Cumberland Medical Center for further evaluation due to a drug overdose.

Michael Williams was written warrants for Driving Under the Influence and Possession of a Handgun while Intoxicated.
