MALE STABBED DURING ALTERCATION IN WAYNE COUNTY, KENTUCKY
Deputies with the Wayne County, Kentucky Sheriff’s Department responded to a domestic violence resulting in a stabbing early this morning on Kelley Lane Spann Hill Road. Deputies arrived and learned a male subject had physical assaulted a female. The report states during the altercation the female pulled a knife and stab the male in the leg in self-defense. The male was transported by ambulance to the Wayne County Hospital. The male was later transferred to the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington because of the seriousness of his injuries. Officers say the investigation is continuing with pending charges for the male upon his release from the hospital. Officers did not initially released the names of those involved.
