MAN ACC– USED OF TRYING TO ELECTROCUTE PREGNANT WOMAN

A man accused of trying to electrocute his pregnant wife in Florida was arrested in Knoxville yesterday (Thursday, December 28, 2017). Flagler County, Florida authorities say 32-year-old Michael Wilson rigged the front door of a home with electrical wires in an attempt to shock his estranged wife. When deputies arrived, they noticed burn marks near the door handle. When a deputy kicked the door, he saw a large spark. Deputies found Wilson rigged electrical devices to the top door lock and lower door handle to electrocute whoever touched the door. Knoxville police arrested Wilson in a vehicle in the 2700 block of Middlebrook Pike yesterday. Deputies reportedly found nearly 2 gram bag of methamphetamine on Wilson. He was arrested for aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, theft of a firearm and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He is being held on $150,000 bond and awaiting extradition back to Florida.
