Crossville, TN- A woman called the police after she heard screaming and knocking at the front door of her residence and opened the door to a naked man.

When officers arrived at the residence on Harper Lane, they identified the male as 34-year-old Christopher Patrick White who had his pants around his ankles. Mr. White told officers that he had been bitten by a snake 40 times and that it was still in his boot. He continued to pull off his boot and sock checking for a snake. He claimed the snake’s head was on the porch, but when the officer went to investigate, it was only a piece of fabric.

Mr. White was checked out and no snakes or snake bites were found. He was reported to of been extremely paranoid, frantic, and profusely sweating. Officers believed he was under the influence of a mind-altering substance and was taken into custody. He was charged with Public Intoxication and Indecent Exposure.
