A Blount County man was arrested after he reportedly bit off a part of a woman’s lip during an altercation.

Officers say 36-year-old Jeorge Padilla was charged with aggravated domestic assault, DUI, indecent exposure, and resisting arrest.

Officers responded to the 2400 block of Air Base Road after workers at a business told authorities that a woman walked up and requested help.

The incident report states the victim was covered in blood and had a paper towel covering her mouth.

She stated her boyfriend, Padilla, attacked her. He allegedly hit her with a closed fist and then tore off a part of her lip using his teeth.

Padilla was taken to the Blount County jail.
