MAN ARRESTED IN ROCKWOOD ON DRUG-RELATED CHARGES
BBBTV12 – A man was arrested in Rockwood on Tuesday afternoon around 3:00 p.m. after being pulled over by two Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) troopers at the intersection of Gateway Avenue and Dunn Street.
The suspect, identified as 30-year-old Cody Kevin Brewer, was taken into custody and remains in the Roane County Jail on a $20,000 bond. Jail records indicate that Brewer was charged with:
- Two counts of tampering with or fabricating evidence
- Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia
- Two counts of manufacturing, delivery, sale, or possession of methamphetamine
- Two counts of simple possession
It is unclear why Brewer was initially pulled over, as no traffic violations were listed in the charges. Authorities are working to gather more details from the Tennessee Highway Patrol regarding the stop.
