MAN ARRESTED IN WALLA WALLA TRACE WITH MULTIPLE DRUG TYPES

Deputy Shane Henderson was dispatched to the Walla Walla Trace area on Friday last week for a suspicious person on private property, arguing with the caller. The suspicious person was identified as Terrence Sheets, who tried leaving via bicycle upon the deputy’s arrival. Sheets shoved away the bicycle and ran into the woods, dropping items from his pockets as he ran, which were later identified as marijuana. Later items found on the ground were plastic bags with syringes, white powder believed to be fentanyl, crystal-like substances believed to be methamphetamine and more marijuana.

Deputy Henderson placed Sheets in the back of his patrol car and spoke with the property owner who said Sheets had broken into a building on his property and cut some wires on his vehicle.

According to the property owner, Sheets had been staying there for a few days while doing some work. Sheets stated he was not leaving because Mr. Spivey owed him money.

Sheets would be transported to Cumberland County Jail for booking, and all three bags found at the scene were placed into evidence and sent to the TBI lab for testing.
