MAN ARRESTED ON HIGHWAY 127 WITH HEROIN
Last night, Deputy Ethan Wilson, while patrolling near Circle K at 127 North, Cumberland County, Tennessee, observed a white sedan and approached the driver, who consented to a vehicle search. Deputies Charles and Page contacted the passenger, Ronnie Pugh.
During the search, drug paraphernalia and resale baggies were found, leading to a search of Pugh. Wilson discovered a baggie in Pugh’s pocket containing a purple rock-like substance and white powder, and foil in his cigarette pack with more purple powder, totaling approximately 4.8 grams. Pugh admitted the substances were heroin.
He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center. Evidence included the suspected heroin, while paraphernalia and baggies were destroyed. All evidence was logged for analysis, and a report was filed.
