Roane County Sheriff deputies responded to an altercation involving the use of a knife at a residence off Delozier Lane in Rockwood on Saturday night around 10:30 . According to Chief Deputy Tim Haun, when officers arrived they observed that Gilgardor Perez had allegedly assaulted two individuals in the home. The two victims were identified as Julio Ramirez and Andres Ramirez.

Andres Ramirez was taken to UT Hospital by ambulance after a laceration to his hand after he and Julio Ramirez attempted to get the knife from Perez. Two ambulances, first responders, and a heavy amount of law enforcement were at the scene.  Gilgardor Perez was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Assault.
