Rockwood Fire and Ambulance and the Rescue Squad units were seen before noon at a residence off Bayless Avenue in Rockwood where a female was found dead inside a home. The medical examiner ordered an autopsy and the body was transported by the Rescue Squad to the UT Forensic Center.

The woman’s identity has not yet been released.
