MAN CONFRONTED BY DEPUTY WHEN FOUND PASSED OUT AT STOP SIGN

On Sunday, a Cumberland County deputy was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle stopped at a stop sign on Lawson and Rye Wood Road that had been sitting there for about 15 minutes. When the deputy arrived, he observed a white sedan in the middle of the road with a male subject passed out behind the wheel. The vehicle was still in drive. When the deputy opened the door, he stated, he had to assist the subject out of the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as 38-year-old Stanton Reagan. Another deputy arrived on the scene with his K-9 partner. When his K-9 alerted the vehicle, a search was conducted.

Two separate pieces of aluminum foil were located, one contained .26 grams of a tan powdery substance, believed to be heroin.  The second contained .26 grams of a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine.

While searching Staton, wrapped in a $5 bill in his chest pocket was more aluminum foil. One contained .32 grams of what is believed to be heroin and .56 grams of what is believed to be methamphetamine.

Stanton Reagan was charged with:
