A 48-year-old man from Maryville is facing DUI charges after a crash on Highway 411 in Loudon County Friday night. Preliminary reports say that Carl Hall’s Ford Taurus crossed the center turning lane into oncoming traffic. He struck a Mazda RX-8 driven by 29-year-old John Lay who also had an 8-year-old passenger. Hall, Lay and the female child were all transported by Lifestart choppers to UT Medical Center. Their conditions have not been released.
