The identity of the individual discovered deceased in an abandoned home in the 4600 block of Decatur Highway (Hwy 58) in the Ten Mile community of South Roane County on January 27, 2026, has been confirmed as 44-year-old Elton Richardson. This discovery prompted the arrest of 27-year-old Zachary Lowe, who has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with Richardson’s death.
