MAN FOUND PASSED OUT IN BELOW-FREEZING TEMPERATURES
On Friday last week close to 9:00 p.m., Crossville police units responded to a parking lot on East Adams Street. Officer Jacob Ogle made contact with Alan Campbell who was lying unconscious in the parking lot in below-freezing temperatures.
Officers attempted to wake him and eventually, Officer Amy Sherill was successful. After standing him up Officer Ogle noticed Campbell slurring his words and swaying while standing as well as an odor of alcohol coming off of him.
Campbell was arrested due to the danger he posed to himself and passing out and freezing temperatures and was charged with public intoxication.
