MAN GETS ARRESTED AFTER HELPING WOMAN HIDE FROM CROSSVILLE PD

On Tuesday, Crossville city officers went to an apartment off West Ave to serve warrants on Ashley Brooke Stickney.

After knocking on the door and announcing himself, the officer immediately heard footsteps and it took several minutes for anyone to answer the door. Finally, Andrew John Glyn-Jones opened the door and told the officer that the woman they were looking for was not present and was in another county with her mother.

However, the officer noticed an elbow under a clutter of stuff stacked up inside a closet. After a short struggle, 39-year-old Ashley Stickney reportedly told officers they saw the police pull up and Andrew helped her hide in the closet.

Ashely Stickney was charged with her two local warrants for Failure to Appear and Violation of Probation.

Andrew John Glyn-Jones was charged with Obstruction of Service.
