MAN INDENTIFIED IN FALL FROM BUCKET TRUCK TUESDAY

On Tuesday, June 21, authorities were dispatched to a call from a male falling 20ft from a bucket truck on Old Elmore Road in Cumberland County.  Billy Cooper, of Deer Lodge, was bleeding from an injury to his head and burns on his stomach. He had been working on fiber-optic work and was pulling wire in the bucket,  elevated from the ground. A co-worker looked up and observed Cooper faint, and they were trying to lower the bucket before Cooper could fall. Cooper was responsive and advised he had been electrocuted by the bucket after what he presumed may have been a live wire. He was taken from the scene by EMS.
