Anderson County, TN – April 24, 2025

A man was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash Saturday evening in Anderson County, according to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 7:09 p.m. on April 19 in the 200 block of New Clear Branch Road. The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Randy L. Roach of Tennessee.

THP investigators say Roach was riding a 2022 Yamaha YZF westbound when he crossed the center line, left the roadway, and struck a mailbox. The motorcycle came to rest in a ditch on the left side of the road. Roach was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the report, Roach was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. No other vehicles were involved, and no charges are pending.

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
