MAN LIFE FLIGHTED FROM HARRIMAN AFTER MOTORCYCLE WRECK THURSDAY
Around 1 PM on Thursday a man was flown out by Life Star from the old Harriman hospital helipad. The male had wrecked his motorcycle on South Roane Street in front of the former Sexton Chevrolet dealership. According to Harriman Fire Chief Brad Daniels, no other vehicles were involved in the incident. He said the operator allegedly got off the roadway in the ditch line, struck a culvert, and then was thrown from the motorcycle. Highway 27 at the location was closed for measurements at periodic times during the investigation by the Harriman Police Department.
The identity of the male and his condition is unknown at this time.
