MAN REPORTS $18,000 STOLEN FROM HIS GUN SAFE

On April 24, 2025, Deputy Shawn Aytes responded to a theft report at Pigeon Ridge Road. The complainant reported $18,000 stolen from a gun safe in an upstairs bedroom. The safe showed no signs of forced entry and appeared recently wiped down.

The complainant noted that a woman who stayed the night before and knew the safe key’s location was alone at the residence from 5:30 AM. This woman, previously accused of theft by the complainant (charges dropped), blocked him on social media and on her phone after leaving.

The residence’s cameras were non-functional.

Later, at 8:30 p.m., the woman denied the theft, stating she had been in a three-year relationship with the complainant and had stayed at the residence for three weeks.
