BBBTV12 – A man was shot early yesterday morning at a residence on Jones Road, just outside Rockwood, and one person is now being questioned in connection with the incident.

According to police, the shooting occurred around 6:30 a.m. Rockwood officers were first on the scene, assisting the Roane County Sheriff’s Department. The victim was allegedly shot in the foot and had been staying in an outbuilding on the property. It is reported that the property owner fired the shot, though the exact circumstances leading to the shooting are still unclear.
