A Putnam County man was critically injured following a stabbing last night (Sunday, December 10, 2017). Officers responded to a home on Eller Ridge Road where they say 27-year-old Jason Montgomery suffered a stab wound during an altercation with another man. Montgomery was transported to Cookeville Regional Medical Center then flown by Lifeforce to Erlanger Medical Center for treatment. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
