MAN STRIKES MALE WITH FRYING PAN AFTER BEING HIT WITH GARDEN HOE IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

Cumberland County deputies responded yesterday to a physical altercation between two men at a home on the 5500 block of Highway 70 North.

The arrest report states neither would tell officers what happened leading up to them engaging in a fight.

Deputies say two women separated the men.

They stated that 26-year-old Shane Michael Farr grabbed a garden hoe and hit a 26-year-old victim over the shoulder three times.

The victim reached for a frying pan and struck Farr in the face.

The report states the two men broke almost everything in the kitchen, living room, and on the porch during the altercation.

Farr was arrested for aggravated assault.
