A Cleveland, Tennessee man was struck while walking on Interstate 75 in McMinn County early Tuesday morning. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says that 22-year-old Mathew Hanley is recovering in the hospital after he was struck on the interstate near Calhoun at mile marker 36.2. The investigating trooper reports that Hanley was struck by a 2017 Dodge driven by 55-year-old Charles Stephens of Whitehall, Ohio. Hanley’s condition was unknown at the time the report was filed.
