A Lawrence County, Tennessee man was arrested after officers say he terrorized a family and causing harm to himself while being under the influence of a dangerous drug. Deputies responded to a home on Gimlet Road last night (Monday, December 25, 2017) for a report of a naked man inside the home. Investigators said 35-year-old Danny Hollis, Jr. broke into the home, sat at the family dinner table and lightly cut his own throat in front of four children and a mother. Officers say Hollis then went outside and ran across a field where he was taken into custody. Investigators said Hollis admitted to smoking “wasp”, a combination of meth and crystalized bug spray.
