MAN WITH LENGTHY CRIMINAL RECORD IN ROANE COUNTY ARRESTED AGAIN
A man with a lengthy criminal record, including in Roane County, has been arrested again…..this time in Blount County. Maryville police attempted to pull over a Ford F-150 driven by 25-year-old Trey Douglas Patterson in the parking lot of Brown’s Creek Shopping Center. Patterson sped away through the parking lot and a chase ensued. It continued on several roads then on Tuckaleechee Pike where Patterson reportedly passed on double yellow lines and ran through several front yards of residences. The chase ended on Wilkinson Pike when Patterson pulled into a driveway of his residence, ran through the home and out the back. That is where one officer drew his firearm, pointed at Patterson and ordered him to get on the ground. Police allegedly found two bags of meth on Patterson. He was charged with delivery of a Schedule II drug, reckless driving, resisting arrest, driving on a suspended license and evading arrest. Patterson was taken to the Blount County jail.
