A Livingston woman appeared in Overton County Criminal Court standing accused of a 2017 death. Court officials say 41-year-old Brandy Angela McDougle is charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of 41-year-old Timmy Melton. She was later indicted by a grand jury late last year. In court yesterday, the judge set a new attorney to represent McDougle. She is scheduled to be back in court January 7, 2020.
