KPD said they are searching for a murder suspect from Georgia who shot a two-year old girl and an adult female on Rowan Road. The suspect also injured 13 year-old boy with his car while running from police Sunday evening on Linden Avenue.

Shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday, the Knoxville Police Department was called to the 5000 block of Rowan Road for a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found an adult female and a two-year-old female had both been shot. Both victims were rushed to UT Medical Center with serious injuries.

Police say that during the investigation it was determined that the suspect, Victor Parsons, was wanted out of DeKalb County, Georgia for an early morning murder that occurred in their jurisdiction.
