A judge has sentenced 37-year-old Amber Manis of Oakdale to 10 years in prison for vehicular homicide by intoxication in Morgan County. The fatal accident happened on Airport Road in November 2018 when she swerved her minivan into oncoming traffic and hit a Mazda sedan operated by Joseph Jones. Law enforcement said Jones died instantly in the head-on impact. A passenger with Jones, his 11-month-old niece, survived the crash.
