Two young children and their mother were found deceased inside of a Macon County home following a fire this morning. Law enforcement says a man and a 6-year-old managed to get out of the residence on Oak Grove Road in Red Boiling Springs. He attempted to get his wife and the two other kids, ages 2 and 5, out but the fire was too intense. The cause of the blaze is under investigation and does not appear to be suspicious in nature. No additional information was immediately released.
