Cumberland County deputies and medics responded to this accident on the 1,100 block of Spruce Loop late this morning. The vehicle left the road and came to rest on a wire suppprting an electrical pole. Authorities say the road was very slick from icy road conditions. An injury report was not initially available.

The temperature in Cumberland County will rise above freezing for a few hours this afternoon then drop to around 24 tonight. This will create icy conditions again from melting. Use extreme caution if you are driving today.
