Mariah Elayne Johnson is scheduled for a deadline hearing in the Cumberland County Circuit Court on September 8, 2026, facing felony charges connected to a November 2025 residential burglary in Crossville.

Court documents show Johnson is charged with aggravated burglary of a habitation committed in concert with two or more persons, alongside theft of property valued between $10,000 and $60,000. The charges stem from a November 2, 2025, incident on Creston Road investigated by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

According to an affidavit of complaint filed by Deputy Blake Richardson, two homeowners reported a break-in resulting in the theft of an estimated $22,000 worth of property, including handguns, rifles, electronics, jewelry, and ammunition. Following the report, law enforcement conducted a consensual search at McCampbell Road, a property owned by Johnson.

Investigators recovered stolen items—including MacBooks, guns, and ammunition—scattered throughout the yard, porch, sheds, and underneath the house. Deputies also located suspect Brandon Stepp hiding beneath the residence.

Johnson, represented by attorney Kevin R. Bryant, was released on a bond secured through Big Jim’s Bonding Company and is slated to appear for her court deadline proceedings.
