MARRYSHOW ARRESTED FOR RECKLESS DRIVING ON WAY TO JOB INTERVIEW
Friday afternoon, Cumberland County deputies stopped 24-year-old Joshua Jude Marryshow of Crossville after observing him driving recklessly along Natchez Trace. He passed a vehicle at a high rate of speed, causing the vehicle to go into the ditch. The arrest report is ambiguous as to whether it was Marryshow’s vehicle or the other one that ended up in the ditch.
Deputies stopped Marryshow once he reached Turner Greenhouse Road and U.S. Highway 127. According to the arrest report, Marryshow claimed he “passed the lady because he was in a hurry and she was driving to [sic] slow for him.” When asked why he was in such a hurry, he replied he was late getting to a job interview.
Marryshow was arrested for reckless driving and placed under $1,000 bond. He’s due in court June 3.
