Authorities in Greenville, South Carolina transported a subject wanted on a sex crime back to Cumberland County late yesterday. The arrest report states 26-year-old Quentin Eugene McDaniel was indicted by a grand jury for rape. McDaniel was processed at the Cumberland County jail and according to jail officials, made a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on the rape charge March 23 in criminal court.

105.7 News obtained the indictment against McDaniel this morning. It states McDaniel between January 29 and 30 of 2018, forced himself sexually on a 14-year-old victim.

If convicted of the Class B felony rape charge, McDaniel faces a range of 8 to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $25,000.
